How cute is this alligator amigurumi!

A while back, one of my friends visited the Everglades, and awesome animal-lover that she is, she met and fell in love with a baby alligator.  She sent me a beautiful pic of her with the alligator in her arms.  (His name was Marshmallow.)  Not that long afterward, I was telling her about what I was crocheting and she mentioned that she had seen this cute little crochet alligator on a blog.  I asked her to send me the link, and of course, when I looked at it, how could I resist?  So I crocheted this one up for my friend.  And yes, his name is also Marshmallow.  🙂

I changed the eyes to make him look a little more… you know… alligatory.  And instead of gluing on the felt, I sewed it with transparent thread.
